The EB3 other worker category is more backlogged than EB3 general category. Mexico is unavailable. There is no hope for EB3 (Other) folks from Mexico. EB3 (Other) India, China, ROW hardly moves an inch in any visa bulletin. If your idea is implemented the oldest priority dates are in EB3 (others) and in Family based visas. Some families are waiting since 1990 to come to USA and reunite with their families.

the state department or the USCIS to forcefully accept 700K applications, and then for next 20 years the dates will be struck. specially for people who have been waiting since 2000,2001 and 2002 cannnot be clubed together with people who came in 2006 or 2007, that is going to be fairly injustice and they know that.
I think it will be better to focus our energy on legislative changes or else nothing will get done, no body can push 700K applications down to the throats of USCIS when that have already exausted the quota.
better focus on contacting senators or house members to get some legislative relief.

I really like this idea.... Actually if north Indians didn't rule Central government in India for such a long time (before PV Narasimha Rao), south Indians would be better off in India itself !!! Then north Indians would be citizens of USA in no time, and South Indians (in India) would have been happy about it!!!

USCIS should seperate North Indians and South Indians - We are soooo very different anyways ..... Different language - different look - different food ..... That way all of us North Indians will get our GC sooner :D

Last year we ran a High Five Campaign and collected $4883 over a period of 4 months. It was a disappointment.
Now as we know the environment is very volatile and lot of things are going against LEGAL Immigrants i.e US (TARP Employer H-1B Restriction Bill (Sanders Bill)), i will like to request everyone to contribute as much as they can. I will like you to contribute a minimum of $20 dollars.
ALL you need to do is write out a $20 cheque and send it to IV on the address listed.

so what is your point? i have no doubts that i can prove point 1, 2 and 3 below... i.e. real business, planned business (with only me as the employee), contracts and orders. i dont think anyone here is talking about a non-bonafide job with a "paper shop" (in your words)...
what is your point about ? doesnt that sounds like "ability to pay" issue? if yes, that is not an issue at I-485 stage... the yates memo clearly states this...

"Are you sure?, have you got the cards yet?, Did you finish biometrics?" Some eb3 folks said "We will get ours too, some issue with finger prints , my husband's boss is very close to the congressman and we have influence in INS", some say "Your lawyer did some magic" etc.....
People carry such mindsets, it is difficult to bring about awareness and change.

agree, it cannot be really changed by us. even if people willingly try to achieve a new mindset with positive programming, it takes months to achieve.
Guess we have to work with what we have. There may be a solution, but only people with a similar mindset can come up with it.

My I-140 approved from TSC. I had sent my I-485 to NSC and I was expecting my application will be transferred to TSC.But, I received receipt from NSC.
I am still waiting for my spouse's receipt.Rest of the details in my signature.

Some should be feeling really guilty for using IV and not contributing till now. Come out the stingy attitude and help.

Current Status: Approval notice sent.
On August 8, 2008, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I485 APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS. Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service.
Hope I will receive GC soon. Haven't got CPO mails/status yet.

EAD applied on Jun11th approved at TSC. Received cards yesterday.
To my surprise my EAD is valid for 2 years.
My PD is Nov 2004 EB2
I140 pending at TSC.
I thought 2 year EAD is only for cases that had approved 140. Is it not the case?

My attorney sent documents to NSC on July 2nd 10.30 AM
Transferred from NS --> TSC with receipt date Aug 29'th.
My cheques were cashed on Aug 29th. Have not received the receipt numbers physically by psotal mail.
My question to you is " Will TSC send the receipt number documnets directly to me or to my Attorney?"
