This is what I don't understand. Priority dates are set so only applications before that date can be approved. Processing dates are not set in that sense of the term.
All uscis does every month when they publish processing dates is look at the Receipt date of the application still pending at the time and publishes that info. I wish they go after the fake companies that acts as GC boutique and also those who "bought" GC from them. (I mean not really bought, but who got GC from a company who originally never intended to work for them or never did). And of course use those numbers for LEGITIMATE cases (I hate to see those numbers go waste).

i work for big company...and i have paystubs...
in essense...what you are saying is that if one has paystubs that one can change after the 180 day period even if 140 is not approved...
i am beginning to see light at the end of the tunnel...:D

1) Contrubuted to IV again
2) Emailed 10 senators
3) Also emailed two Senators from my state
4) Emailed 30+ reporters of national news channels
5) Emailed all local Chicago newspapers
6) Emailed press release to 20+ Indian newspaper operating in US to increase awareness
Will keep contributing....

I filed late June at NSC trs to Texas and received on July 2nd. Just received my RN yesterday for my 485. On line it says that my ead has been approved and the notice went out on the 25th.

Average worldwide processing time for employment based green card applications is 1.43 years (Priority Date to GC approval).
In simple words, it takes 5.5 years to wrap up the 1 year GC demand for Indian applicants presuming there is no overflow from any other country GC visa quota.

By now you should have had your EAD and AP in hand - after FP was done. What was the reason for the delay? Most of these cases got FP notices within 4 weeks of Aug 17th.

I am in exactly same boat, with no idea about my pending application.
Absolutely hate this feeling.
Don't worry! It will soon be up. Its just where your app is located in the stack of stuff.. I worried so much until a couple of days when the checks are cashed..however no receipts yet...its just crazy..some spouses got EADs while principal applicants status is still pending...

You are wrong. How are the pay stubs link to your future GC job. Employment Letter is listed right there on I-485 form as initial evidence.
Do NOT confuse Current Employment Letter with Employment Letter for GC job

Hi guys,
My first H1B (2003) had LUD on 14th of July...and today there is a LUD on I-140. My I-140 approved in March 2007..PD is March 2005...Is it good indication that they are doing something with my I-485 case? My application reached NSC on july 2nd (not sure about time as my lawyer sent those papers). My I-140 is from TSC.
Mine is pretty much the same situation and see a LUD of 08/05/2007 on my I-140 today. Hopefully I will see checks cashed in the next couple of days. Fingers crossed. :confused:
