Everyone getting receipt notices, and not coming to the rally, (not coming to the rally -most on tracker threads), please at least consider contributing to the rally once you get your notice or FP done or get EAD!. The rally cost is huge and we can do much more if people can contribute generously.
We helped you get to the stage so that everyone can file I485s. It pains us in the core team see how our members who used to tell us all the time to at least allow them to file I485 and then they will wholeheartedly take part and support IV have turned their backs on us now. With our work and victory in Visa bulletin fiasco, we even answered people who used to ask us for our achievements before they could contribute.
Now it is your opportunity to deliver.

I am not interested to pursue this, nor do I have the ability to lead this effort. Plus I am very happy with the effort and the work IV is doing. Which is not for a specific category but a more general appeal. I support that.
But for those who are interested - EB3 (India and ROW). The way USCIS is interpreting the law of spillover, can be easily challenged, because this goes against the spirit of the law. If EB2 and EB1 were to be given special preference at the I485 stage, then clearly they would have been allotted a larger quota to start with. should be a strong enough case for a Class Action Law Suit. Looking at the times that some people have been waiting and are expected to wait this is clearly an option to try out. IV or without IV. :)

Gurus,
I have a unique position. couple of weeks back I was told that have fatal cancer and won't live pass 4-6 months. After recovering from initial shock I am wondering if my wife will be able to continue her american dream or she will have to head home after me.

Actually everyone should get copy of the receipts from DOL or INS whenever company received and also they should communicate to the lawyer every 3 months to get the status. Atleast the errors due to company or Lawyers should be avoided. One may not have much control after it goes to INS or DOL but persons make sure that everything filed properly. Some lawyers promtly send copies of all the communications both inbound and outbound. That will give gc applicants chance to review the various process and they can try to correct if any discrepancy or errors

When my attorney filed my labor and we didn�t hear on it for 3 months, my Attorney called up the local labor dept. they told him that the person who used to do foreign labor certs met with an accident and is on extended leave, It took 13 months for the local office, by that time BECs were born, retrogression�..

being anguished about the situation of not getting receipts and even worse - not being able to track or check status...I emailed the attorney and asked if he could check for encashed checks or if their firm is getting july 2nd receipts...
His response :
"We have just started getting receipts for some of the June applications we sent. I am surprised that July filers are already getting their receipts and somehow find it hard to beleive thats the case. Anyhow we have no updates on ur case."

Tell me what wrong he did for him to apologize and I will apologize to you. When nothing is permanent he worked with them for 1 and half years, he got them 4 employees. Why in the world should he apologize?.
When you say that you will not need your clients you are wrong. when I was searching for projects I got a chance to apply to a job opening in one of my previous client, guess what, the start to my second stint was smooth just because I had a good rapport with my client and they liked my work. I even got one of my team mates in my client place to give me a referral for my higher studies.
"Your ex boss is not a bad guy, he knows you are leaving for better opportunity".He is not only a bad guy, he is evil IF (note the big IF) he is keeping the money which is not his. Their conscience should prick when they feed and give excellent education to their kids with the ill gotten money.
Unfortunately one might need his ex-employer in future (might not always be the case) and that is the irony of it all.
What wrong he did? Nothing illegal but certainly not the best practise. Atleast he has been insensitive to his former employer.

Are you working for numbersusa? Do you know that it is made by white supremist who dont want any colored skin including native americans to be alive in US? Talk about your scare of getting too many people with substandard MS degrees. Do you not realize that the companies in USA knows a different in good US school and Bad one - So in nutshell the people from bad school wont get job? Do you know that there is nature's rule - Fittest Survival... So in case you are fit enough and qualified enough to get a job then you will get one, it does not matter if you are from good or bad school....
Also, looking at your thoughts, it does not appear that you are MIT or Stanford grade material, so do us all a favor and keep your thoughts to yourself....

You are definitely a MOLE in this IV Organization and the only reason they keep you on board is because this is democracy and we dont want to throw out someone who might disagree - Its about freedom of expression - But when Freedom of expression crosses the line and creates poison pill then we need to weed it out I guess.....

In this case, this classic rule has applied beyond expectations because people who are calling are already racist who sit on their ass and expect all colored people to be their slaves and get things done for them. They want their mexican maid or indian computer programmer doing things for them but the moment they realize that these foreigners might get citizenship and be equal to them, they dont like that.... We cannot reject numbersusa and other organizartion's ideas. As our people are suffering in retrogession some of their people and their families are impacted because of job loss in past. So we cannot tell that they do not have crediblity. They have some valid points also though some of them are absurd. But we need to understand them and try to elimimate their fears also.

In my case, i do not have a valid H-1B visa stamp. I recently visited India and used Advance Parole. Questions related to this
1) do i need to surrender my PAROLE I-94 before departing USA?
2) does canada immigration officer ask me why i have applied for canada gc while my USA gc is in process?:confused:

If you wanna return to the US from Canada, you either need to have H1B visa or AP.
Your Canada Immigration Officer may ask why you want to settle in Canada and you should have a convincing explanation.

I received 2-emails one 9/5 and one on 9/9 with the same message saying my EAD card production Ordered. I don't know why they have sent 2 emails.
